At the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, we work closely with Irish Health Insurers and also welcome self-paying patients. Our hospitals have coverage with all the private health insurance companies, with some of the best coverage available amongst private hospitals across the country.
Before admission, please check that your policy covers the treatment you need. You are responsible for all charges not covered by your insurance company. If your insurer does not fully cover the cost of your treatment, please discuss with us and we will look at ways to address this.
In most cases, the hospital will be in a position to quote a fixed price for treatment of non-insured patients. This will be based on the information forwarded by your Consultant on treatment required, anticipated length of stay, ancillary services etc.
You will be asked for payment on or before admission. You may be entitled to tax relief as a self-pay patient and our staff will be pleased to provide further details.
