Mr Curran, originally from County Donegal, graduated with honours from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2001. He was awarded Fellowship of The College (plastic surgery section) in 2012 and was awarded a certificate of completion of surgical training in 2013. Mr Curran then undertook reconstructive surgery fellowships in the UK at The Royal Free Hospital, London and at Broomfield Hospital’s St. Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns. Mr Curran then completed a further reconstructive surgery fellowship in the USA at The John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore and a cosmetic surgery fellowship at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.
Mr Curran practices in most aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with specialist interests in skin cancer surgery, microvascular surgery, breast reconstruction and cosmetic surgery.
