Biography
Dr Ismail Mohamed is joining us from Craigavon Area Hospital as a Consultant Rheumatologist MBBS, MRCPI, FRCPS Glasgow, UK, MRCSEd AE Edinburgh, UK.
Dr Ismail first came to Ireland in 2008 and subsequently worked across various sites including University Hospital Waterford, Nenagh General Hospital, Cavan General Hospital and St James’s University Hospital Dublin.
In 2015 Dr Ismail commenced working in Ulster General Hospital in Belfast and moved from there to his current post in Craigavon Area Hospital in 2017. Dr Ismail has a number of subspecialty skills and a broad general knowledge of Rheumatology as well as having a special interest in Acute and Emergency Medicine. Dr Ismail will therefore be joining our GIM rota and will be available to take acute GIM referrals.
