The Bon Secours Hospital Limerick at Barringtons is a smoke free site.
In an effort to promote a healthier lifestyle for patients and staff, smoking is prohibited on the hospital grounds, which includes the entrances to the hospital and surronding footpaths.

Fire Safety
Bon Secours Hospital Limerick at Barringtons is committed and acknowledges its responsibility to managing and conducting their work activities in such a way to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all patients, employees, contractors, visitors who may require our services or visit our premises.
In the event of a fire the hospital recognises its obligation and duties as an employer to direct, manage and ensure as far as is reasonably practicable the safety, health and welfare of all employees, members of the public and contractors who may attend our premises as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
