In 2021, Dr. Aldujeli was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Education for his PhD studies in Molecular Cardiology. His research primarily focused on unraveling the complexities of coronary microcirculation dysfunction. In 2024, he was awarded a PhD with distinction, marking a significant milestone in his academic and research career.
Dr. Aldujeli's academic pursuits were further supported by scholarships from the European Society of Cardiology and the European Heart Academy, enabling him to enrol in the MSc program in Health Economics, Outcomes, and Management in Clinical Sciences at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
In January 2024, Dr. Aldujeli was honoured with the prestigious title of FESC (Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology) by the European Society of Cardiology, in recognition of his significant contributions to the field of cardiology. Furthermore, in July 2024, he was recognized for his contributions to interventional cardiology and his skills by being honoured with the title of FSCAI (Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions) in the United States.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Aldujeli is passionate about medical education, serving as an Assistant Professor at several European Universities. His commitment to teaching was internationally recognized in 2023 when he received a Certificate of Excellence in Teaching and Leadership from Sligo University Hospital in Sligo, Ireland.

Dr Tuohy is a graduate from the School of Medicine at National University of Ireland, Galway in 2009 and was the recipient of the gold medal in paediatrics. Dr Tuohy also holds Bachelor of Science from NUI Galway and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from NUI Galway. Doctorate of Medicine was obtained from University College Dublin based on research on the genetic basis of sudden cardiac death in the young in Ireland. Has multiple presentations and peer reviewed publications in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr Tuohy underwent initial postgraduate clinical training in Galway region and then entered Higher Specialist Training in Cardiology with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Member of Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Dr Tuohy graduated from Cleveland Clinic Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship in 2018. This was a two-year program in advance electrophysiology training in a high-volume procedural centre of excellence.
After fellowship Dr Tuohy was appointed as Attending Cardiac Electrophysiologist in Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine and Assistant Professor of Medicine Tufts University Boston USA.
Dr Tuohy returned to Ireland in 2020 and was appointed as consultant cardiologist to University Hospital Limerick from 2020 - 2021.
Dr Tuohy was appointed to Bon Secours Hospital Limerick at Barringtons in 2020 and also holds appointments to Bon Secours Hospital Galway, Beacon Hospital Dublin, and Blackrock Health at Galway Clinic.

Dr Tuohy also specialises in the implantation, management, and removal of cardiac implantable electronic devices (including leadless pacemakers, subcutaneous implantable defibrillators)
