Chief Strategy Officer
Lynn Guthrie is Interim CEO of Bons Secours Hospital Galway, part of Ireland’s largest Private Hospital Group which has a network of modern JCI accredited acute hospitals.
These world-class medical treatment facilities are located in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Tralee, and a Care Village in Cork. BSHS employs 3000 staff, who together with 350 leading consultants work in partnership to provide high quality care to 200,000 patients each year.
BSHS has recently launched its ambitious 2020 plan which identifies 6 Strategic Goals and 20 Strategic Initiatives and an investment of €150m across all of its facilities and technologies to provide Advanced Medicine Exceptional Care to patients. Lynn is Project Director for delivery of the 2020 Plan and heads up the Project Management Office. This strategic role includes oversight of key business initiatives aimed at Growth and Efficiency.
As part of BSHS growth plans BSHS has recently acquired Barringtons in Limerick. Lynn is a Director of Barringtons and Chairs the Integration Steering Group which oversees Barringtons integration to the BSHS and its growth and development in Limerick.
Lynn has previously worked in the RCSI Group and St Vincent’s and has held a number of Senior Roles in Risk Management, Quality, Performance Management and Administration.
She is currently studying towards a Masters in Healthcare Management in and holds a BSc Management and Marketing. She travels regularly and speaks French.
Lynn is passionate about staff engagement, process improvement and performance management with a focus on improving care for patients and creating better work environments.
