Henry Burrows is a commercially driven executive with national and international healthcare and hospitality experience. Henry has a hands-on approach to leadership, resulting in strong employee and customer satisfaction. He is an engaging communicator and relationship builder with expertise in organisational planning, multimillion-euro capital projects, contract negotiations, team development, and increasing visibility for growth.
With experience spanning 17 years in private healthcare management and consultancy, Henry has held various senior roles including Group CEO of Aperee Living, CEO of Brídhaven Nursing Home Group, Managing Partner of BRÓD Healthcare Management and Consultancy and he was also a Healthcare Management Consultant to the Bon Secours Health System. Henry also held senior positions abroad including the King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Riyadh (a 250-bed JCI accredited hospital).
He has a Master’s Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sociology of Management from the University of Leicester (UK), an Advanced Diploma in Data Protection Law from the Honorable Society of King’s Inns, and a Diploma in Finance for Non-Financial Managers from UCD.
Henry is an Associate Member of the Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI) and is also a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland (IoD).
He is a former Irish international basketball player and has represented Ireland in the European Olympics and the European Championships.
