Dr. Peter Boers undertook his undergraduate studies at the University of New South Wales (UNSW, Sydney, Australia). He completed his Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc) in 1990, followed by his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS, Honours Class 1) in 1991. He later commenced specialist physician training under the supervision of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and completed his advanced training in Neurology in 1999. He completed a three year research degree, and was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Following completion of advanced training, he completed a one year fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney. In 2001/2002 he was the Australasian Fellow at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, working and studying in diverse neurology subspecialty firms.
