Mr Ati Ferede is a consultant surgeon in General Surgery and Kidney Transplantation and he is based in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Mr Ferede completed his undergraduate medical degree with honours at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia in 2001. He was awarded full scholarship to complete Master’s Degree (MSc) in Public Health at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) in 2003.
After working at various international organisations, he moved back to Ireland and completed his higher surgical training and was awarded the Intercollegiate Certificate in General/Vascular Surgery in 2019. He also completed fellowship in organ retrieval and transplantation from the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI Eng)/Beaumont Hospital joint programme in 2018. He is Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences with active involvement in undergraduate and post graduate training. He is a Fellow of the RCSI.
