Pulse oximetry
Dr. Michael O’Mahony is a Consultant Respiratory Physician. He qualified in Medicine from University College Cork in 1996. He subsequently trained in Respiratory Medicine in Ireland and the US. He completed his Specialist training in New York Presbyterian Hospital, and held Faculty positions in Weill Cornell Medical College and Rockefeller University in New York. He accepts all referrals relating to Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.
Dr Imran Saleem undertook his specialist training in Respiratory and General Medicine on the Irish Higher Medical Training Programme in major academic centres in Dublin and Galway.
Dr Saleem is enrolled on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine. He previously worked as Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine at University Hospital, Galway and Roscommon. His areas of special interest are Sleep Apnea, COPD, Asthma, Bronchiectasis, Interstitial Lung Disease and Chronic Cough. He also receives General Medicine Referrals.
A referral letter is required to be sent from your GP by post - may also refer via the Bon Secours GP healthlink referral system or to the relevant consultant. Diagnostic Testing is provided by appointment only.
