The Hospital Restaurant is located on the Ground Floor adjacent to the Reception and is open to patients, visitors and staff. The restaurant which was awarded the Gold Cap award in 2015 in food service, provides a delicious daily menu. Copies of these daily menus which are posted around the hospital and at the entrance to the restaurant.
In addition, vending machines are located on the 1st floor in the Diagnostic Hub above the Minor Theatre area.
Due to Health and Safety regulations, please note that there are restrictions on certain foodstuffs that can be taken from the Restaurant.
The Hospital Pharmacy is located on the 2nd floor of the hospital. Our team comprises of Pharmacists, Technicians & Pharmacy Assistants who provide a pharmacy service to both patients & members of the public.
Do not forget that if you are bing admitted to the hospital, all drugs, alternative medicines, supplements and over the counter remedies that you might be taking at home before your admission must be brought into the hospital with you. These should be given to nursing staff on admission who will distribute them during the course of your stay. This will ensure brand continuity and also immediate availability of your prescribed medication. It also ensures that all medications taken whilst in hospital are accurately recorded into your patients’ chart.
At the Bon Secours Health System Dublin we recognise the value of good food in aiding recovery from surgery or illness. Each day, you will be given a menu so that you can choose what meals you would like on the following day. If you are a vegetarian or have a particular dietary requirements, please tell the ward staff. Allergens are listed on the menu card and we ask that you carefully review these before ordering your meal or please ask a member of your care team if you have any queries.
