Mr Adrian Brennan is an experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. His extensive training and expertise have equipped him to provide the highest quality personalised care to his patients.
Education and Training
After completing an honours degree in Physiology in his native Galway he moved to the UK to pursue his medical education. Mr Brennan completed his Orthopaedic training in the prestigious Severn Deanery based in Bristol, UK, where he developed a strong foundation in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery. He further honed his skills in arthroplasty at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre, before undertaking fellowship training at the National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh in Dublin under the guidance of renowned Irish surgeons. This training deepened his understanding of complex orthopaedic procedures and refined his surgical techniques.
International Expertise
Mr Brennan's specialist training led him to Sydney, Australia, where he completed fellowship training in complex pelvic trauma and arthroplasty at the Sydney Orthopaedic and Trauma Reconstruction Service. This international experience broadened his perspective and exposed him to cutting-edge techniques in orthopaedic surgery. Upon his return to the UK, Mr Brennan worked as a Senior Fellow in the Major Trauma Centre in Bristol, further solidifying his expertise in managing complex trauma cases before returning to Ireland to take up a Consultant post.
