Professor Cornford graduated from Imperial College London and was appointed Consultant Urological Surgeon at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital in 2001. He is an internationally recognized expert in the management of prostate cancer and is the current Chair of the EAU Prostate Cancer Guidelines Committee, previous Chair of the SAC in Urology for the JCST and currently Examiner and Board Member for the JCIE FRCS(Urol) Exam.
He continues to supervise a research programme at the University of Liverpool where he holds an Honorary Chair.
Professor Cornford provides specialist advice and management for patients with suspected or proven urological malignancies and tumours affecting the urinary tract. He also manages patients with lower urinary tract symptoms and peno-scrotal concerns.
He doesn’t see children but is happy to manage patients with lower urinary tract symptoms and penoscrotal concerns.

Prof Cornford's specialist interests include:
• Uro-oncology especially prostate and renal cancer
• Minimally invasive surgery including robotics surgery
• Peno-scrotal surgery including microscopic reversal of vasectomy
