Dr David Glynn graduated from University College Cork Medical School in 2015. He subsequently completed the Surgical Basic Specialist Examinations and in 2017, was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCSI). From 2017 to 2021, he undertook Radiology Higher Specialist Training at Cork University Hospital and Mercy University Hospital and was conferred with a Fellowship of the Faculty of Radiologists of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FFRRCSI).
Dr Glynn completed fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital, Dublin (2021–2022). He then pursued further subspecialty training in Boston, USA, undertaking an Abdominal Radiology fellowship at the Harvard Medical School-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital (2022–2023), followed by a Breast Radiology fellowship at Boston Medical Center (2023–2024).
In 2024, he began his role as a Consultant Radiologist at Bon Secours Hospital, bringing extensive training and broad expertise in radiology. Additionally, he serves as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University College Cork.
